Rachel McQueen, PLA, ASLA
Rachel is a landscape architect and project manager in our Santa Rosa office. She has experience in both construction management and landscape design, skills she honed working in both the private and public sectors. After receiving a degree in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley, where she graduated with honors, she worked for the New York City Parks Department as a construction project manager. After returning to California, she worked in the private sector as a landscape designer and project manager for a multi-disciplinary landscape architecture and architectural design studio. In addition to her work as a designer at Quadriga, Rachel is active in her community. She is the founder of the Oakland Chapter of Dining for Women, a national organization that raises funds for women in developing countries through grassroots efforts, a mentor with the ACE Mentor Program, a foundation that works to encourage high school students to pursue a career in architecture, construction or engineering, and a volunteer with Walk Oakland Bike Oakland, a walking and biking advocacy group.
